Nintendo has revealed Splatoon 3, the next entry in the company's hugely popular paint-based shooter series. The game will launch for Nintendo Switch in 2021. splatting ink and claiming turf in Turf War battles, players will be able to venture into the Splatlands, a new region that's been taken over by hostile wildlife. In the Splatlands, players will encounter new enemies and bosses, as well as different weather conditions that will affect how ink behaves. There are also new styles and weapons to experiment with. Inklings and Octolings will be able to choose from a variety of hairstyles, and can now equip Gliders to glide through the ink, as well as Banshees, which allow players to fire ink from above. 4v4 Turf Wars are back, and Nintendo says there are new stages, new maneuvers, and new weapons to discover. In addition, players will be able to join Agent 3 in a fight to save the world from the Octarians. The first Splatoon game was released for Wii U in 2015 and was followed by Splatoon 2 for Switch in 2017. Both games were massive hits, selling over 16 million copies worldwide.
